Gregory: What's the message you think [Romney] has to send with his choice?

Gregory: Are you ready to be President?

Ayotte: I will tell you this: I have great experience as Attorney General ... and I'd say I have, some would say, better experience than Barack Obama had when he was a senator and ran, having been the chief law enforcement officer of my state. She never said she wouldn't want to be Vice President. You can watch the segment, which aired May 6 on MSNBC here.

Stay tuned.
