Meet Angie Kopka, who is campaigning in a new ward to regain her seat in the State House.

Angiel Kopka, at 96, is the most seasoned candidate on the New Hampshire campaign trail. She is also rising to the challenge of campaigning in a new ward – having recently moved to Ward 1.

  • State of NH - House of Representatives 2002-2010;  Distinguished Service Award; Award -National Association of Realtors; has held offices of President on state, local and national Real Estate Associations; past President- Nashua Business and Professional Women; Grand Regent- Catholic Daughters Association; President- National Association of Realtors-Women's Council (1974) 
  •   Nashua native since 1916; Wife of John S. Kopka (Deceased); Mother of 2, Grandmother of 7; Great-grandmother of 3. 
  • Priorities for Nashua and NH include providing adequate supports and services to NH's senior citizens. Improving the state's infrastructure (roads, bridges, rail, etc) so as to make NH more attractive to new businesses and industries. Expanding and enhancing opportunities for NH's women and girls.
  • Final question: Why are you running?  "New Hampshire is a good place with good people and I want to see our state make progress and continue to provide opportunities for all of our citizens."
