Prior Elected Office: Former two-term Member of the New Hampshire General Court serving former District 26 Nashua Wards 5,8, & 9; Former Vice Chairman of the Transportation Committee where we passed the foundation of a Commuter Rail Committee, rules on texting while driving; guided through Committee better laws on new youth drivers; legislation for the safer operation of off road vehicles and boater operations.

Personal: Married to Diane O’Brien for 29 years, three adult children, son Michael, and his wife Dawn, Grandson Aidan Michael; Daughters Kayla, and Haley.

Priorities for Nashua and NH: Sadly, watched in this last session the dismantling of prior efforts on commuter rail. The lack of attention to commuter rail by the Majority House Members during this session allowed an opportunity for economic growth, jobs, and quality of life to slip though the fingers of Nashuans. Many of you, like myself, support commuter rail and I promise, I will continue to support commuter rail.

Deep cuts in state funding to cities like Nashua and Manchester may save some money. However, those cities' obligations did not disappear but shifted locally to the taxpayer. Nashua needs strong representation to see that her unique needs are placed upon the table. A strong Nashua means a strong southern tier for our state

I support education and believe that our commitment and efforts to educate ALL, brings back dividends in a healthy society. Some may go on to college and seek local jobs reinvesting in what we invested in them, and if college is not in a child’s future, then providing an education where they may independently flourish.
