Kennedy Event Location Change

Organizers for the 5:30 p.m. scheduled stop in Nashua by Caroline Kennedy has been moved to the "In case of rain" location, which is the Obama for America headquarters, 97 Main Street.

The Obama campaign announced Friday that Caroline Kennedy will be campaigning for President Obama in New Hampshire on June 27 and June 28, 2012. Space is limited.

The Obama campaign announced today that Caroline Kennedy will be campaigning for President Obama in New Hampshire on June 27 and June 28, 2012.

“We are excited to welcome Caroline Kennedy back to the Granite State,” said Pete Kavanaugh, Obama for America–New Hampshire State Director. “Caroline Kennedy shares the President’s vision for an economy built to last and will discuss the clear choice facing voters in this important election.”

Caroline Kennedy will be attending three grassroots events in Nashua, Manchester and Meredith.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Caroline Kennedy was just 2 in 1960 when her dad, John F. Kennedy, stood at the foot of the steps of Nashua City Hall and announced his run for the presidency on a snowy January.

That alone may be the reason why Kennedy is making Nashua one of her New Hampshire stops next week. She plans to follow in her father's footsteps, stopping at City Hall Plaza June 27 at 5:45 p.m.

The Nashua visit was confirmed by Obama for America campaign officials, who said if it's raining, the stop will move up the street to the Obama for America headquarters at 97 Main St.

Kennedy is hitting the campaign trail in support of President Obama's reelection campaign.
