VIDEO: 'Gay Baby Abortion' Question for Santorum
Rick Santorum began his day with a 'President's Circle' event in Nashua, which ended on an awkward note.
File this under "Oh no she didn't."
As former U.S. Rick Santorum left the podium following a Rivier College event, one questioner in the crowd asked a groaner of a question, which was rebuffed by others in attendance. Santorum rolled his eyes a little and continued to make his way, at the core of a media hive, to his getaway car.
Of all the candidates campaigning here, Santorum, a Catholic, has fielded a fair share of controversial questions ranging from gay rights and gay marriage, to priest sex abuse, abortion and whether war conflicts with his religious convictions.
Most recently, during the Jan. 8 televised "Meet the Press" debate, NBC's Andy Hiller asked Santorum what would he do if one of his sons revealed to him that he were gay.
"I'd love him as much as I did the second before he said it," Santorum said.
During a September GOP debate, Santorum said as president he'd reinstate "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," after a gay soldier posed the question of gays in the military to Santorum via satellite.
Santorum's appearance at Rivier Monday morning was touted as a "Faith, Family and Freedom" town hall meeting. His wife, Karen, and two of his children were in attendance, and Santorum even had a brief exchange with a sympathetic audience member over his 3-year-old daughter's genetic chromosonal condition, Trisomy 18.

What a stupid question! Of course Rick Santorum would not abort a gay baby. He would want that gay baby to grow up to a full adult so that Rick could then deny him equal civil rights just like God tell him to.
