Latest update from the National Weather Service on this weekend's storm.

Lastest from the National Weather Service on this weekend's storm.

Winter Weather advisory remains in effect from 9 p.m. this evening to midnight Sunday night across Southern New Hampshire.

Snow accumulations: 4 to 6 inches.

Timing: Snow will overspread the region mid- to late afternoon and continue at times through Sunday night.

Untreated roads and walkways will be snow covered and be quite hazardous.

Winds: Northeast 5 mph or less.

Temperatures: Lower 30s.

A winter weather advisory is issued when snow and/or ice is forecast to develop in the affected areas but accumulations are expected to be light. Any snow or ice would make driving and walking difficult but not impossible. Motorists need to be especially careful on bridges and overpasses where slippery spots can easily develop.
