A Hudson man and a woman from Massachusetts pleaded guilty to fraudulently collecting a combined $61,000 in unemployment benefits while working, according to Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley.

Robert Reynolds, 42, of Hudson, pleaded guilty to 89 counts of unemployment fraud and to three counts of larceny over $250. After the pleading in court in Boston, a judge sentenced Reynolds to five years of probation and ordered him to pay close to $43,000 in restitution, according to Coakley's office, via a press release. 

Reynolds received benefits between January 2008 and May 2010, and worked full-time during part of that stretch. He collected nearly $43,000 in unemployment benefits while earning more than $92,000 from his employment, Coakley said.

The other person pleading guilty was Zelda Williams, 52, of Randolph, Mass., on 49 counts of unemployment fraud. She was ordered to pay more than $18,000 in restitution.
