LETTERS: Democrats Stand by State, Not The People

"Why must Democrats go against the will of the people and our Constitution?"

Dear Nashua Patch:

Pertaining to the article in the Union Leader on April 17th: Grievance panel defends against AG criticism:

Rep. Timothy Horrigan, D-Durham, said after the press conference that he agreed with the attorney general’s critique. “I think the criticism is well taken,” he said.
Rep. Horrigan, along with the other Democrats, seem to have a problem with
fighting for the rights of their constituents who have voted them in to office.

I am not aware of even one Democrat state represenative sponsoring a Petitioner. The Republican's are standing by the people abused by the State, while the Democrats just sit there and let the abuse by the State continue.

Why do the Democrats want these abuses hidden from the public? What's in it
for them? Why must they go against the will of the people and our Constitution?

Is it all that Federal funding that comes into play by tearing families apart?
Is the money to the State that important? Important enough to let the State's abuse of families continue without any accountability or transparency?
The Redress Grievance Committee is the people's only hope for justice. If Rep. Horrigan and the other Democrats have such a bias against the committee, then why are they still on it?
