Artist and illustrator Ron Plante has been named "Artist of the Month" for November by Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau.

In support of local artists, Mayor Lozeau has invited the Nashua Area Artists to participate in the “Artist of the Month” exhibition at City Hall.

Plante is a series Artist who prefers to study and create multiple works investigating a variety of topics. His latest series is titled, “People of the Dawn: An exploration of local Native Americans” and is the result of more than than years of investigation into the Native Americans of the North Woodlands,
mainly The Abenaki.

Plante's artwork will be displayed in the Mayor’s office, 2nd floor of City Hall. It can be viewed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

In addition to sharing his talent at City Hall, Plante teaches a Cartooning and Illustrations class and a Cartooning for Kids workshop at the Nackey S. Loeb School in Manchester.
