Police: Man Stole Goods from Employer

Allegedly caught stealing more than $1,500 in merchandise over several months.

 

Demario Dorton-Smith, 23, of 16 White Oak Drive, Nashua, was arrested by Nashua Police on Feb. 17, charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking (consolidation) a class A Felony.

Dorton-Smith is charged with stealing in excess of $1,500 in merchandise from his employer, a retail business on Daniel Webster Highway. The thefts occurred over the course of several months.

This offense is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Dorton-Smith is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court.
