VIDEO: Police Not Ready to ID Body Found in River

An autopsy was completed Friday but no official word on the identity or cause of death.

Those waiting for word on the identity of the man whose body was found snagged on debris in the Nashua River April 4 will have to wait a little longer.

Nashua Police Lt. Michael Moushegian said there are still a few more things to double check in order to be certain of the man's identity.

"The medical examiner won't commit to anything as far as cause of death until we identify the victim, and we're working toward confirmation, but it won't happen today," said Moushegian early Friday afternoon.
