Police Seek Gunman in Saturday Night Market Robbery

Police seek the man who used a gun to rob a clerk at a neighborhood market over the weekend.

Police are looking for a man who robbed a clerk at gunpoint Saturday night at Churchside Market.

Just before 10 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2013 police were called to the neighborhood store at 56 West Hollis St. for a report of an armed robbery.

The clerk told police he was robbed at gunpoint after a man entered the store and demanded money from the cash register.

The robber fled with stolen money. He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-7 inches tall, medium build, with dark
eyes. Police believe he fled the area in an older model Dodge Intrepid, possibly gold or tan in color.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Nashua Police Department at 594-3500. Callers may provide information anonymously on the Nashua Crime
Line at 589-1665.

Police have released a surveillance camera image of a man they describe as a "person of interest" in this case.

No the gun did nothing. It was the man who wanted money who used the gun to scare the clerk into giving hum the money. If the robber had no gun, he could have used something different or nothing at all. The gun was never the issue. The robber himself is the issue.
