POLL: Where Will You Do Your Christmas Shopping?

Online is convenient, the mall has variety, but shopping downtown boosts the local economy. How do you decide?

This "Top Shopping Destinations" story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch got me thinking about where I will do most of my shopping this year. Due to a dismal travel budget, I won't be hitting any of the top destinations mentioned in the story.

However, I still have lots of great options, including Downtown Nashua, Etsy and cool online vendors of unique finds, like The Daily Grommet, which I discovered today via an ad in my Nashua Patch newsletter [click the link and sign up today so you don't miss another thing!].

Truth be told, I'm not a great shopper. But I know so many of you have strategies and tips that keep you at the top of your game.

Now I'm curious to know how the rest of you plan to accomplish your shopping this year. Please answer the poll, for the sake of poll results, and then add your comments and shopping tips below.

(In some ways) I miss the days when I worked in Boston and all of Beantown in which to do my Christmas shopping.
