Two-Alarm Fire at Hudson Machine Shop

No injuries reported.

Hudson Fire Department is looking into what sparked a fire inside an 83,000 square foot industrial building at 46 River Road just before noon on May 6.

Initial reports show that a lathe operator at Omni Componenets Parts first noticed a fire under his machine and attempted to extinguish it using a fire extinguisher. The fire eventually spread activating the building's sprinkler system.

The cause of the fire is listed as "undetermined" but is not suspicious, according to Hudson Fire.
