Pennichuck Water is on the scene.

Pennichuck Water is on the scene of a water main break, where service has been shut down in the area of Catalina Lane, Century Road, Biscayne Parkway, Nova Road, Bennington Road, Deerhaven Drive and Monterey Avenue since before 7 p.m.

As of 9:30 p.m. Pennichuck said residents in the affected area should expect to be without water into the night.

Please avoid the area.

Water will be restored as soon as possible, according to Nashua Emergency Management Director Justin Kates. Currently, the water supply in case of fire emergency is not affected.

Roly, that last post made me laugh. Hope you're luxuriating in a bubble bath this morning.

It's surprising how important water turns out to be. We got it back in the wee hours of the morning thanks to a hardworking posse of pennichuck crews. Sorry you all missed the Super Bowl. The Patriots didn't win...
