What Do You Think of Nashua's Website?
We've no jet packs (yet), but online government is at our fingertips. What more do you want?
The city of Nashua's website is chock-a-block full of information and online government services. "Citizen favorites," according to the site, include bus schedules, job postings, bid opportunities, birth certificates and marriage licenses.

I know there's a citizen's request page, but I'd like to see something like the Bangor Daily News does called "See it. Fix it." where we can see the requests that are outstanding and add our vote to those we think critical. In fact, this might be a good item for the Patch to implement.
It's not mentioned in the article, but there are two addresses to get to the Nashua home page: NASHUANH.GOV and GONASHUA.COM. Note that one ends in dotGOV and the other ends in dotCOM. I'd suggest that people get used to using the dotGOV ending because if one or the other are ever dropped, the dotGOV is more likely to survive than the dotCOM.

I love that you can look up house values and sales. I like the waste pick up schedule. I like the maps provided. Those are the items I use. @JimC the "See it Fix it" item is a great idea. Although in Bangor it's the newspaper that is host, not the government.
