Woman Charged With Credit Card Fraud

Police say Melinda Simoneau racked up $4,000 in debt using stolen credit card.

Melinda Simoneau, 24, of 7 Kessler Farm Drive, Apt. 176, Nashua, was arrested Aug. 22 at about 4:30 p.m. by Nashua Police Uniformed Field Division on a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Consolidation, Class A Felony.

The case was investigated by detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division. Simoneau is charged in connection with making in excess of $4,000 in credit card charges at city retail stores on a stolen credit card, police said.

A Class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment in a New Hampshire State Prison, exclusive of fines. Simoneau was released from the Nashua Police Department on Personal Recognizance bail pending her arraignment at the Nashua District Court.
