Gov. Maggie Hassan continued her statewide “Innovate NH” tour on Jan. 11, with a visit to Globe Manufacturing, where she toured the company’s operations and met with Globe employees.
Globe Manufacturing, based in Pittsfield for over 100 years, is the nation’s largest manufacturer of firefighter suits and emergency responder gear, producing innovative products to keep our first responders safe.
Hassan's “Innovate NH” tour features stops across New Hampshire, including visits to innovative businesses and discussions with local leaders, educators and citizens, as part of her efforts to reach out to Granite Staters for their input on building a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.

Good to see our new Governor highlighting one of New Hampshire's finest industrys.
Much better than the GOP pushing to farm out the prision system to out of state companies, bringing in non-medicare accepting hospitals, and passing all those bills sponsored by ALEC, also known as the Koch Brothers, and sending profits out of state and overseas, along with the jobs.
