Well Sense Health Plan Underwrites Lil' Iguana's Children's Safety Foundation

Funds will support educational programs in Nashua, NH

Manchester, NH – Well Sense Health Plan announced today that they have underwritten educational programs throughout Nashua for Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation. Funds will support twenty-one events including live stage shows and in-classroom programs at elementary schools, early learning centers and Head Start sites. Well Sense will also support the organization’s Family Fun Days in May and October.

Lil’ Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation (LICSF) is a non-profit organization that uses prevention programs to educate children, ages two through nine, about abduction, sexual abuse, child predators, and serious accidental injuries. Their award winning programs use educational and proactive teaching mechanisms to ensure children stay safe throughout adolescence. Over the last 19 years, the organization has delivered its curriculum to over 4,000 children.

“Our mission is to ensure the well-being of every single child, and their health is a major part of that effort,” said Jim Tomaszewski, Executive Director at Lil’ Iguana. “We are excited to partner with Well Sense Health Plan as we work to keep our kids safe and happy.”
