VIDEO: Paint Social at Old Amsterdam

Old Amsterdam Bar & Lounge is the place to find your inner artist.

One of its newer rotating events, the Paint Social gives anyone a chance to create fine art.

Drink. Paint. Create. Learn hands-on tips and techniques by local artist Maggie Williams of Positive Street Art, a non-profit organization focusing on community murals and youth intervention art workshops.

Paint Social is a collaborative effort between PSA and Amsterdam, and part of the Downtown Arts Movement (DAM) series, creating events that bring people together for positive expression.

The Feb. 22 Paint Social filled up fast and some folks had to be turned away, so your best bet is to pre-register next time around, said Cecelia Ulibarri, of Positive Street Art.
