Several emergency vehicles were parked in the northbound lanes of the Everett Turnpike approaching Exit 4 since just after 9 a.m. responding to at least one crash.
One car was visible facing the wrong way in the northbound lane near the exit ramp, while a second vehicle appeared to be disabled in the far left breakdown lane heading north.
One witness said the accident may have involved "low flying birds," which Nashua Police could not confirm.
Traffic is moving, but heavy and slow in that area. One ambulance just left the scene.
