Body Found Inside Car Registered to Missing Woman

Positive identification of a body found inside a gray Saab has not yet been made.

Police investigating a report of an overturned vehicle spotted in a grassy area off Temple Street discovered a body.

Nashua Police Lt. Michael Moushegian said the car, a gray Saab, is registered to Sarah McCormack, age 29, of 26 Morgan St. in Nashua, a woman who has been missing since June 26.

Police arrived in the area of 103 Temple Street at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday to find a vehicle on its roof in an area of "heavy vegetation." Detectives discovered a body inside the vehicle. Moushegian said someone reported seeing the vehicle, but did not witness it going off the road. He said it appears the car had been there "for a while."

Nashua Police are awaiting someone from the NH Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause and manner of death, but said at this time the identity of the person is not known.
