Sorry NH, No Yuengling for You
The Pennsylvania-brewed beer is now being sold in Massachusetts, however.
Last year, Yuengling announced that at long last it would be selling its beer in Massachusetts.
Then a billboard for the Pennsylvania-based brewer suddenly popped up on Route 1 in New Hampshire near the Rye/Portsmouth line.
So is Yuengling coming to New Hampshire, too? Unfortunately for beer lovers, no.
"We do not have any immediate plans for New Hampshire," the company said in a statement on Monday.
The billboard, it turns out, was only put up because the Seacoast region is so close to Massachusetts. So for now, at least, you'll have to drive to Massachusetts if you want to pick up a 6-pack of Yuengling. It officially started selling its beer in the state on Monday.
