Touch-A-Truck - Nashua
NASHUA - What child–big or small–wouldn’t love the chance to climb aboard a fire truck, big rig or ambulance? On
Saturday, August 3, area youngsters will have that opportunity as “TOUCH-A-TRUCK”
is held at Nashua High School South.
The event will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
“TOUCH-A-TRUCK” provides a unique opportunity for childrento explore vehicles of all types – public service, emergency, utility,delivery, and those that are just plain cool – all in one place.
Children will be able to touch, climb on and ask questionsabout their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment. Accompanyingpersonnel will teach children about the equipment displayed and how these machines help in our community.
Trucks scheduled to attend the event include a police command vehicle provided by the Nashua Police Department, fire trucks from Nashua Fire Rescue, and a trolley provided by Nashua Transit. The event will also feature a variety of service vehicles from the City of Nashua-Division of Public Works.Additional trucks continue to register and will be at the event o n August 3.

A suggested donation of $5 per car- or van-load of visitors
is requested as admission to the event. Donations are used to support programs
offered for children in Nashua.
