New Hampshire local food economy among the best

New Hampshire is doing a great job providing locally grown food for its residents. We are third in the nation on the locavore index behind only Maine and Vermont. Check out Jim Haddadin's article in the Nashua Telegraph that details what this means for the New Hampshire economy. This is exciting news for New Hampshire and is a sign that we are a vibrant and healthy state. Our local food economy is burgeoning.

We are seeing more farms pop up all over the state and we are also seeing "food hubs" develop to consolidate distribution of local products. This gives local farmers an economy of scale to increase their efficiency and profitability.

The craft beer world is a big part of the localism movement. New Hampshire is leading the way in that regard too. Buy local New Hampshire craft beer to support New Hampshire people and the New Hampshire economy.

And let me plug our craft beer store that is set to open in South Nashua in June. In addition to all of the great New Hampshire beers we can get our hands on, we will also be selling only New Hampshire made or New Hampshire produced food products.
