Inauguration Day

Inauguration Day

What an amazing morning and ceremony.  Just a few moments now before we are off to the Inaugural Ball!

Today is Martin Luther King Day so I am attaching a photo I grabbed while on our amazing Segway tour (remember, use the Smithsonian tour - see my other post).  The monument is an amazing work to soak in, especially so close to the holiday and inauguration.

Last night was the Green Ball held at the Newseum.  Joe Biden made an appearance, Wil.i.am and Shelia E. performed.  Camp Freddy brought the house down and Nicholas David was amazing just as he was on The Voice.  We got to talk to him quite a bit at the Green Ball - I suggested they come to the Tupelo Music Hall.

Tonight we are off to the 21st Century Dems reception and then Tara and I are lucky enough to be attending the Inaugural Ball.  This has been an amazing several days!!
