Elizabeth LaFlower Hoffman, 49: Mom, Longtime Postal Clerk

Friends and family are asked to wear blue to services on Jan. 15.

Elizabeth A. LaFlower Hoffman, 49, of Merrimack passed away January 12, 2014 at her home in Merrimack, with her family by her side.

She was born on November 2, 1964 in Bronx, New York the daughter of Rosemarie Pantore of Margate, Fla., and the late William LaFlower. She was raised and educated in New York and attended Lehman College in the Bronx.

Liz worked as a postal clerk in Nashua on Celina Avenue for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and genealogy. She was active with the Boy Scouts and their related activities. Liz especially loved being with her family. Besides her mother, family members include her three  ons, Matthew Hoffman, William LaFlower and Daniel Hoffman all of Merrimack; two daughters, Andrea Hoffman and Amanda LaFlower both of Merrimack; grandson, Nicholas Houle of Merrimack; her significant other, Steve Grenier of Merrimack; former husband, Wayne Hoffman with whom she share 18 years of marriage; three brothers, Edward, William and Philip LaFower all of NY; two sisters, Stephanie and Carol Ann LaFlower both of NY and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Her memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial is being planned at Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations in Liz's memory can be made to the NH Brest Cancer Coalition, 18 Belle Lane, Lee, NH 03861-6438. At the request of Liz and her family you are asked to wear something blue to the services.
