Krystal Doucette: Alvirne Grad, Mom of 2, Nursing Student

Krystal Eve Doucette, 27, of Hudson, NH, died at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on October 3, 2013 as a result of a tragic accident.  She was surrounded by her family.

Krystal was born on December 15, 1985, the daughter of Jacqueline Krocker of Nashua, NH.

She is remembered as a loving and devoted mother, daughter and friend. Her two daughters, Aaleyah and Nevaya, were the center of her life.  She was a social butterfly and she liked music, camping, birthdays, reunions and spending time with her family and friends.  Krystal was a very spiritual young lady and believer in Christ and her faith.  She had many interests including baseball, modeling, cheerleading, dancing, racing “Bostoncrusher,” laughing it up with good friends and taking her daughters to York Beach.

Krystal was a 2002 graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson.  Following her graduation, she attended Nashua Community College and Hesser College where she was studying nursing.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph M. Krocker and Jacqueline E. Krocker of Billerica, MA, an aunt, Edith Moon of Boston, MA, her brother, Peter M. Doucette, Jr. of NH and Huggins Mortimer of Nashua, NH, father of her companion, McEdward Mortimer.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Aaleyah and Nevaya Mortimer, both of Hudson, NH; her companion and father of her daughters, McEdward Mortimer of Hudson, NH; her sister, Lisa Doucette; her godmother and aunt, JoAnne Krocker Cohan, her uncle, John Cohan and her cousin, Cassidy Cohan of Tewksbury, MA; her uncle and godfather, Joseph Krocker, Jr. of Haverhill, MA and her cousin Ryan D. Krocker of Hudson, NH; her uncles, aunts and cousins, including, Michael and Wendy Doucette, James and Margaret Callanan and their family of South Boston; June Welden of North Carolina, Alice Fiore and Alisa Fiore, both of Wakefield, MA,  Edna Hunter of Goffstown, NH; the Callanan family of Goffstown, NH; Michael Pottie and family of Billerica, MA; Michelle Fiore and family of Lynnfield, MA;  Andrew Howard of Dracut, MA; and her extensive extended family and friends that are not listed but shared in her life’s journey.  Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and being there for Krystal. God Bless us all, and Krystal, Rest In Peace, we love you and you are forever in our hearts.

SERVICES:  Visiting hours will be held at the David Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua, NH on Thursday, October 10, 2013, 4 - 7 PM.  A Celebration of Her Life will immediately follow at 7 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be a private ceremony.
