HUDSON - Paul A. Wheeler, 98 of Hudson, passed away on Dec. 1, 2013, in Naples, Fla.
He was born in Nashua, on May 31, 1915, to the late Curtland and Olive (Swinerton) Wheeler and was a welder during World War II. During his younger years, Paul enjoyed skiing, hunting and fishing and was an expert marksman in shooting and archery.
He was a draftsman and finish carpenter and enjoyed gardening later in life.
Paul was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Doris (Patnaude) and six older siblings.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy Bangs of Tewksbury, Mass., and Lilli (Patrick) Walsh of Hampstead; grandchildren, Jody (Joseph) DiAngelo of New Jersey and Joseph Bangs Jr. of Massachusetts; and great-grandchildren, Anthony and Joseph DiAngelo of New Jersey.
A memorial service will be held next spring in New Hampshire.
