Hudson Man Arrested in Heroin Raid

Detectives from Salem and several other area communities participated in the drug sweep.

Thirty people were arrested – including one from Hudson – in a massive heroin raid in Lawrence, MA on Thursday.

According to The Eagle-Tribune, detectives from Salem, NH and numerous Massachusetts communities participated in the sweep, along with the FBI, Massachusetts State Police and the Essex County Sheriff's Department. Among those arrested was James Daniels, 23, of 57A Griffin Road, Hudson.

A series of heroin overdoses have been reported recently in Salem, Portsmouth and Salisbury, MA. One of those people later died. Police have said the overdoses could be linked to a lethal batch of heroin out of Lawrence.
