ActorSingers Casting For 'Les Mis' Production in Fall

First New Hampshire staging of the popular musical will take place in Nashua.

Lou Duhamel announced Tuesday that local theater group ActorSingers will be staging the full musical version of "Les Miserables," in November.

It will be the New Hampshire debut by a community theater troupe of the popular musical production, to be staged over two weekends at the Keefe Auditorium, Nov. 8-10, and 15-17.

The announcement was made live on WSMN radio 1590 AM during the Nashua This Morning program with host George Russell.

Director Will McGregor will be holding auditions beginning Aug. 25 at 219 Lake St. Callbacks will be Aug 28.  Actors should come prepared with 32-bars of a song in the style of the show.  Bring sheet music for the accompanist.

Audition schedule: 
Sunday, Aug. 25
    1-3 p.m.  children (age 8-15)
    6-10 p.m.  adults (age 16+)

Monday, Aug. 26
    7-10 p.m.  adults (age 16+)

Rehearsals begin Sept. 1.
