Employee Charged With Theft from Restaurant

Jimmie McNeil held on $5,000 for theft of cash from a restaurant where he was employed.

On January 23, 2014, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Detective Bureau arrested Jimmie McNeil, 49, of 46 Spring St., Nashua on an outstanding warrant for theft, a class B felony.

On September 7, 2013 the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Patrol Division handled a report of an internal theft  which had occurred at a local restaurant in Nashua. It was reported the McNeil had taken a cash pouch containing in excess of $1,000. The incident was further investigated by members of the Nashua Police Department’s Detective Bureau and a warrant was subsequently obtained for his arrest.

Police declined to name the restaurant.

McNeil was released on $5,000 P/R pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on February 7, 2014.
