The $11,400 worth of equipment is being donated through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Firehouse Subs plans to make the donation April 15 at the Firehouse Subs Restaurant at 341 Amherst St., in a ceremony attended by local firefighters, franchisee Bruce Stone, Firehouse Subs area representative Dave Tucci, and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Executive Director Robin Peters.

The EMS equipment includes three rotary rescue saws, two portable foam systems and four hose valves, according to Firehouse Subs. The donation allows Nashua Fire Rescue to replace old tools with new, updated ones.
