Fund Set Up for Mom of 4 Injured in Weekend Crash

Rosemary Hernandez was injured in an Oct. 5 crash while heading home from work.

A fund has been established for Rosemary Hernandez, 39, the Nashua mother of four who was seriously injured in a crash Saturday at West Hollis and Pine streets. 

According to police Hernandez was struck by a vehicle driven by Jose Arana, who was charged at the scene with aggravated driving while intoxicated. 

Rosemary Hernandez's husband, Wilfredo Hernandez, was driving the family's food truck, and witnessed the accident, according to police. They were heading home at the time of the accident.

A spokesperson at Mass General Hospital on Tuesday said Rosemary Hernandez was listed in "fair" condition.

Friends and family of Hernandez have set up a fund at RTN Federal Credit Union, which confirmed the account is available to receive donations. It is set up under account number 534270. Donations may be sent, marked "For Rosemary Hernandez" at RTN Federal Credit Union, 600 Main St., Waltham, MA 02452
