Man, 73, Charged for Possession of Child Porn

Police say Louis Rosenfeld was receiving child porn through the U.S. Mail.

Louis Rosenfeld, 73, of 143 Coburn Woods, Nashua was arrested Feb. 1 by members Nashua Police Department's Youth Services Division, for alleged possession of child pornography.

He was formally charged with possession of child sexual abuse images, a class A felony.

Nashua Police Lt. Francis Sullivan said the US Post office was initially informed that Rosenfeld was receiving the material through the mail.

On Feb. 1. Nashua detectives assisted Postal Inspectors of the US Postal Inspection Service with execution of a search warrant at Rosenfeld’s residence During the search photos of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct were disovered. Rosenfeld was taken into custody without incident.

A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Rosenfeld is being held on $10,000 cash or surety bail and he is scheduled for arraignment on February 2, 2012 at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
