Nashua man faces multiple counts of domestic violence.
Nashua police arrested a city man and charged him with multiple offenses, including second-degree assault and five counts of domestic violence for allegedly grabbing, punching and trying to strangle a woman.
Police said David Perez, 25, was charged after police investigated a report of domestic violence at a local hospital Sunday.
The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to Nashua police.
Perez was held overnight Sunday on $10,000 cash bail before his arraignment April 14. The Class B felony second-degree assault is subject to up to seven years in prison upon a conviction. The simple assault counts, Class A misdemeanors, are punishable by up to a year.
