Man Arrested, Charged with 3 Counts Sexual Assault of Juvenile

Robert Emmons, 55, of 23 Temple Street, Nashua, was arrested Jan. 10 at about 2:15 p.m. at 48 Chestnut St., Nashua, wanted for aggravated felonious sexual assault, a class a felony. 

Two additional counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, Class A Felony have  also been brought forward.

In late December of 2013, the Nashua Police Department received a report of a sexual assault involving Emmons. An investigation by the department’s Special Investigations Division revealed that Emmons sexually assaulted a juvenile female under the age of 13, who was known to him, at a residence in Nashua. An arrest warrant for Emmons was obtained on January 10, 2014.

Emmons was held on $100,000 cash only bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on January 13, 2014. Each Class A Felony is punishable by 10 to 20 years in State Prison exclusive of fines.
