Man Charged in Nashua Domestic Wanted by Maryland Police

Police said Darrell Roper had been jailed in Maryland for attempted murder.

Update on arrest of Darrell Roper:

Following Roper's arrest on Nov. 2 on domestic violence charges, as previously reported, Nashua Police learned that Roper was wanted by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services for a parole violation.

Roper was convicted and incarcerated in Maryland for an attempted murder charge, and was out on parole when he fled the state of Maryland in violation of
the terms of his release.

The warrant for his arrest was issued June 2, 2011.

Roper was held on $30,000 cash bail pending his arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court Nashua.
