Man Thrown From Motorcycle in Hudson Crash

John Surrette, 19, suffered a leg injury. His female passenger was not injured.

A Hudson man was injured following a motorcycle accident in Hudson Monday night.

Hudson Police responded to the area of #20 Dugout Road for the report of a motorcycle accident Aug. 5 at about 9:30 p.m.  Upon arrival to the scene, it was determined a 2005 Kawasawki motorcyle being operated by John Surette, 19, of Hudson, who was traveling west on Dugout Road when he struck a curb and was thrown from the motorcycle.

Police said Surette was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was treated at the scene by Hudson Fire Department personnel for a serious knee injury and later transported to the Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center.  

A 17-year-old female passenger was wearing a helmet and was not hurt.  This accident is under investigation by Hudson Police patrol personnel.
