Mass. Man Charged with Stealing $3,500 from Employer

Tyler Wallace was arrested on Tuesday on a theft by unauthorized taking charge.

A Massachusetts man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing $3,500 from his employer.

Around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Operations Bureau arrested Tyler Wallace, 27, of 43 Sixth St., Lowell, MA for theft by unauthorized taking, consolidation, a Class A felony.

Nashua Police had received a theft report from National Tire and Battery at 298 Daniel Webster Highway in April of 2013. Through the course of the investigation, it was learned that approximately $3,500 was taken by Wallace, who worked for the business at the time of the thefts. A warrant was prepared for his arrest and he was subsequently taken into custody in Massachusetts on Monday.

Wallace’s bail was set at $5,000 cash or surety pending his arraignment in 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on Wednesday.
