Nashua Man Charged with Raping Young Girl
The incident was first reported to police on Jan. 18.
A Nashua man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he raped a juvenile female.
At 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniformed Field Operations Bureau arrested Joshua Hansen, 38, on a warrant and charged him with aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault.
On Jan. 18, a juvenile female known to Hansen reported to the Nashua Police Department that she had been sexually assaulted by him. The investigation was furthered by members of the Special Investigations Division, and as a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for Hansen's arrest.
Hansen was held overnight at the Nashua Police Department and arraigned in the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on Wednesday. Bail was set at $10,000 cash only.
