NH, Nashua Police Joined Manhunt
Officers reflect on the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing.
A number of New Hampshire law enforcement officials, including Nashua's SWAT team members who helped hunt down the suspects, reflected on the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing.
Nashua Lt. Bryan Marshall, in a report by WMUR-TV in its coverage of the anniversary, spoke of the challenges of the manhunt and the professionalism demonstrated by multiple agencies working together,
Marshall, a 22-year veteran of Nashua's Special Response Team, told Nashua Patch last April that it is an assignment none of the team members will forget.
"We've deployed for shots fired here in Nashua, or in neighboring towns, but the scope of this – even for the new guys – this will be the call of their career," Marshall told Nashua Patch.
The Nashua SRT members were about 100 yards from the boat where the accused bomber was found and captured.
