Offender Fails to Report New Address
Nashua police charged the man with class A felonies based on past convictions.
Nashua police arrested a registered sex offender April 17 on charges he failed to notify police he had changed his address.
Matthew Runnells, 29, of 21 High St., Apt. 1, Claremont, was charged after an arrest warrant was executed, and after the Special Investigation Division of the Nashua Police Department identified him Jan. 28 as non-compliant for registration requirements.
Runnells was charged with failure to notify and duty to report, and police said Runnells also failed to complete his quarterly sex offender registration.
The charges were upgraded to class A felonies due to previous convictions of Duty to Inform and Duty to Report, according to Nashua police.
