Ayotte to Obama: 'Why Not Call a Timeout on Obamacare?'

Sen. Kelly Ayotte appeared over the weekend on CNN calling for President Obama to take a timeout on Obamacare roll out.

Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, appeared over the weekend on CNN's "State of the Union with Candy Crowley," calling for the President to initiate a "time out" on the roll out of Obamacare.

"This is a mess, you've seen not only problems with the Website, but it's much deeper," Ayotte said, citing letters from constituents from New Hampshire who have contacted her to report rising premium costs and policy cancellations.

"I'm calling on the President now to say let's have a time out ...  to convene a group of bipartisan leaders," Ayotte said.

Crowley asked Ayotte if she felt Republicans were vulnerable to criticism by President Obama that instead of helping constituents understand the law, Republicans are putting their energy into fighting it for political gain.

"How can I help my constituents when they are getting cancellation notices?" Ayotte said.
