Shaheen Visits Harbor Homes

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) visited Harbor Homes in Nashua on April 15 to discuss efforts to support New Hampshire veterans.

Harbor Homes CEO Peter Kelleher briefed Shaheen on health care services and support programs, and a $1 million federal grant the senator helped Harbor Homes secure last year, according to Shaheen's office.

The $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs helps non-profit organizations to prevent at-risk veterans from becoming homeless and to help those who have recently lost homes to have housing.
