National Weather Service issues flood warning, flood watch alerts for NH.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Merrimack River valley until 8 p.m. March 30, and a coastal flood watch until 2 p.m. Sunday.

Rain may be heavy at times and a hazardous weather outlook could continue until Monday, when the forecast calls for rain and potential for sleet.

The flood watch is in effect until March 31 at 2 p.m. for greater Salem.

A coastal flood watch is in effect until 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Greater Concord has a flood watch until 2 p.m. on March 31, and a winter weather advisory until 8 a.m. March 31.

The flood watch for southern New Hampshire, as of 11 a.m. Sunday, calls for rainfall up to 2 inches, with local amounts up to 3 inches expected. The rain, combined with snowmelt, increases the likelihood of flooding in rivers and small creeks, according to the National Weather Service.
