Four-Day Weather Forecast: Watch Out for Wednesday

Tuesday morning snow causes poor driving conditions.

A thin blanket of snow coated roadways in Nashua Tuesday morning, reminding us that 'tis the season to be prepared.

Several minor accidents were being reported, and NH DOT reported "less than favorable" driving conditions between Exits 1-5.

Speaking of weather, which is on everyone's mind as Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the Nashua Holiday Stroll approach, here's the outlook from the National Weather Service:

  • Tuesday A chance of snow showers before 10am, then a chance of snow showers after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Tuesday night Rain and snow, becoming all rain after midnight. Patchy fog between 10 pm and 1 am, then Patchy fog after 2 am. Low around 34. Light and variable wind becoming east 6 to 11 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Wednesday Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog before 1pm. High near 55. South wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
  • Wednesday Night A chance of rain showers before 1am, then a chance of snow showers. Patchy fog between 8pm and 10pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind 9 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Thanksgiving Day Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph.
  • Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 18.
  • Friday Sunny, with a high near 31.
  • Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 14.
  • Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 29.
  • Saturday night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.
