Nashua in a Fog: Snow + High Temps = Condensation

Drive carefully out there.

Winter in New England promises any number of annoying, borderline dangerous weather conditions. Right now we're fluctuating between frigid lows and unseasonable highs that result in meltdowns and freeze-ups. This morning schools were delayed due to icy roads, and for Tuesday we can anticipate more of the same after Monday's high temps and melting snow mounds.
Fog has been the other problem today, with visibility pretty lousy - thanks to Jeremy St Hilaire of Great Harvest on Amherst Street for today's weather photo.

Below is the outlook from National Weather Service for the next couple of days:

Today:
Rain showers with isolated thunderstorms this morning, then rain showers this afternoon. Areas of fog. Visibility one-quarter mile or less at times this morning. Not as cool with highs in the lower 50s. Temperature falling into the upper 30s this afternoon. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west with gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. A chance of snow showers in the evening. Much cooler with lows around 12. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph, decreasing to 30 mph after midnight. Chance of snow 30 percent.
