Should you be elected, how will you connect with your constituents to learn more about issues they care most about?

If elected I can be reached by phone, 882-9617 or email DDEANE05@AOL.COM. I have a good record of returning phone calls, site visits, and responding to email. I have also attended and voted at every regularly scheduled Board of Alderman’s meeting from January 2002 to present.

In your opinion, what are key issues affecting your Ward?

As an At-Large Alderman all Ward issues are discussed at public meetings and/ or at site visits. The issues are all different for the most part and I take the public's concerns, ideas, and suggestions into consideration when legislation is presented to address the problem. There are many times in which legislating an issue isn't necessary as the issue can sometimes be dealt with by bringing folks together, discussing the issue and resolving the concerns.

Why are you running?

I am running because I feel I bring a wealth of knowledge to the Board of Aldermen through my years of serving and wish to continue to serve the citizens of Nashua.

Why should voters choose you over your opponents (what uniquely qualifies you to represent the public)?

I believe my years of service, work ethic, and dedication as an elected official as well as my understanding of City Government and its operations places me in a position to best serve the citizens.

During your time served previously as an Alderman, how would you characterize your leadership approach? What will be your legacy to the city for having served?

I am a firm believer in Open Government and have always spent the time and effort on all issues brought before the Board of Aldermen to make the best informed decision possible. I take pride in listening to the comments, suggestions, and ideas brought before us by the citizens as well as members of the Board of Aldermen. My legacy would be a voice of reason representing all of Nashua's Citizens.
