Most of my career was spent as a software architect where I received eight patents as well as being a founding member of several startups including ArrowPoint Communications which went public in March of 2000 and was subsequently purchased by Cisco Systems. Most recently, I co-founded a company called Synergy Dining Group which is a restaurant holding company that currently owns and operates six Popeyes Fried Chicken restaurants in Mass. and NH.

Personal info and interests outside of politics:
Married with three children and two step-children. I enjoy reading, golf, and music. I am an avid pianist and have been playing for 45 years.

Should you be elected, how will you connect with your constituents to learn more about issues they care most about?
I will continue to do what I have been doing since my campaign started. I have walked around neighborhoods and spoken to numerous people personally. I don't think there is any substitute for face to face communications.

In your opinion, what are key issues affecting your Ward?
High property taxes and lack of proper spending oversight.

Why are you running?
I think the Board of Alderman needs someone with business experience and the time and commitment to closely examine the decisions that the Mayor is making. I am very unhappy with the direction the city is taking under Mayor Lozeau and the complete disregard for the concerns of the taxpayers of Ward 9. Rather than just wring my hands and complain I decided to try to do something positive about it and run for office.

Why should voters choose you over your opponents (what uniquely qualifies you to represent the public)?

I have extensive business experience and the time to use it to do the job well for the residents of Ward 9. I am running because I love this city not because anybody asked me so they could retain power and not because I need this as an ego boost. I care and want to make a positive difference.

Feel free to include a summary statement or platform below if there are any other particular points you would like to relay to voters.

Nashua was voted the best city to live in twice. We can be that again but we can't do it without qualified people making decisions that represent the will of the people in our government. I would strongly urge the voters of Ward 9 and throughout the city to closely examine the qualifications, temperament, and track record of the candidates and choose those that are independent, qualified, and thoughtful.
